My name is Raffaella, I am a pastry and bakery chef with coeliac disease and high sensitivity to lactose, and my mission is to offer you the most exquisite, mouth-watering, gluten and lactose free baked treats… So incredibly good that also not intolerant family members and friends will love them!

Viennese pastries
Viennoiseries are a true bakery challenge to achieve gluten free; the lack of gluten makes it very complicated to achieve a great laminated texture.
At Joy we achieved to have an incredibly light honey comb texture in a fully gluten, lactose free version which is also vegan.
Finally you can enjoy the most gourmand selection of traditional viennoiseries such as croissants, couques suisse with raisins and pastry cream, chausson aux pommes, but also modern versions as the pain au chocolat bi-color, the cinnamon roll.
At Joy we also love new challenges, so our menu will keep growing with new trendy ‘haute couture’ viennoiseries as the tiramisu vol au vent, the nest custard and blueberries, and many new others, also savory versions, which will come…follow us on social media to check out the novelties.


Cakes
Being Italian, it goes without saying that I propose the best selection of the italian regional specialties, as Panettone from Milano for Christmas, the Caprese cake from the island of Capri, Strudel from Alto Adige, the Zeppole di Sant’ Antonio from Naples, or the Torta della Nonna from Florence, and many more.
At the same time I am also a curious explorer , that’s why I like to include in my pastry selection the cakes I liked the most during my travels; some examples are the traditional tarte au riz from Verviers in Belgium, the pumpkin pie of the Thanks Giving day in US, the Sacher torte from Vienna, in modernized version.
All my cakes are gluten and lactose free, made in different formats upon your request.

Savoury
At Joy we also love savoury treats! Have you dreamed of a focaccia as you can have it in Liguria, or a pizza margherita with high croust as used in Naples? Now you can, 100% gluten and lactose free.
Our pizza and focaccia are super light, as they are prepared with very little yeast, let leavening for long number of hours, and enriched with top quality ingredients, such as tomato purée, extra virgin olive oil and oregano, all ingredients of Italian origin.

How does Joy function
I produce artisanally and only on order, in order to avoid any waste (electricity, raw materials and finished products).
My treats are therefore freshly baked by me especially for you;
that’s why I ask for a minimum order of 28€.
You can get your goodies collected at my lab or delivered, both on appointment.
